Pricing depends on the size, project scope, and specific wants and needs of each garden. I look for clients who are interested in working with me to increase biodiversity, plant native plants, and learn about growing their own food indoors and out!
General Pricing
Project Scope
If stonework and design are a major factor and subcontractors are needed, the price will reflect the scope of work. (i.e excavation and planting mature woody plants/ meadow restoration) Est. 3,500-10,000+
Small Garden Revival
Gardens within the city tend to be small and will require more work up front for cleaning and preparation. Depending on the amount of work needed a smaller project may begin with a 1/3 deposit with continued maintenance. Price dependent on types of plants to be planted. Estimated cost: 1,500+
Maintenance Only
If the garden is already in decent shape, heavier maintenance may be required at the beginning. I recommend 6 hours per week to start and 3 hours per week as needed after. Estimated price: $100 consultation followed by $85/hr for expert care
Other Options
I also enjoy container planting and working with small business owners. I provide transparent communication on pricing for plants and often propagate my own to lower the price for my clients. Prices vary on size/ number of containers and supplies needed. Seasonal planters are of special interest and perennial plants can be planted in ground after the season. Estimated cost: $400-2,000+
